Rockville Fencing Academy's Full Day Camps

Rockville Fencing Academy's full day camps are a great way to spend a summer week.  The camp hours are 9am to 5pm.  The cost is $350.  Each day is a mixture of 3 hours of fencing, featuring footwork, drilling, fencing games, critique bouts, and open bouting.  Lunch (student supplied or purchased  from Pete's Grill),  Snack time, and other activities.  The other activities can include Movie time,  Other athletic games, Craft & Science projects, and Games (computer & old fashioned).  The campers are guided my Rockville Fencing Academy's professional staff lead by Coaches Aklesso & Stu.

 

A typical days schedule is:

8:45 - 9:00 am 

 Drop off

 

9:00 am - 10:30 am

        Quiet Play time -- use one of our game stems,  or any of our variety of old school board games, & puzzles.

 

10:30 -- Noon:

Fencing session one.

 

Noon -- 1:00pm

Lunch & Movie time.

 

1:00pm -- 1:30pm

Fencing Footwork or Footwork game.

 

1:30 - 2:30pm

                Organized Activity:  Our popular activities include:  Making Duct Tape Wallets, Picture Frames, making Rockville Fencing T-shirts. Making and destroying fencing targets, Assembling Balsa wood gliding planes & making and using balloon swords.

 

 

2:30 - 4:00pm

Fencing session two.

 

4:00 - 5:00pm

Play time.  Use any of our "old school board games/puzzles. No computer games.  Finish Movie.  Organized games such as Dodge Ball, Wiffle Ball, Ultimate Frisbee.

 

5:00pm

 Pick up.
